Energetic John is the founder and President of Professional Flight Centre, which started in 1986. A 12,000 hour ATPL pilot and Multi IFR Instructor. John also specializes in groundschool and seminar instruction. He extends an enthusiastic welcome to all students of Pro!

Blythe Montgomery

Position:
Vice President and Tailwinds

All You Want To Know:
Blythe Montgomery is John’s wife and Pro's Vice President. Blythe is the caretaker of our company and spends most of her time looking after our student’s individual needs. This could be coordinating aviation medicals, written exams, transport to and from airport when arriving from out of town, you name it.

Blythe is not a pilot but she goes a long way to help keep our company "flying" with all the great things she does. She also operates our pilot supply shop, Tailwinds!

Mark Stierli

Position:
Operations Manager / IFR Simulator Instructor

All You Want To Know:
Mark is responsible for keeping the day-to-day operations at Pro running as smoothly as possible. When he is not busy with that, you may find him sitting behind one of our three ATC-810 simulators looking over an IFR student's shoulder.

Mark obtained his Commercial Multi-IFR in 1980 and has been with Pro since 1990.

Claire Stierli

Position:
Office Manager

All You Want To Know:
Claire was hired as Pro’s first secretary in 1989. Her responsibilities have grown steadily over the years to the point now that she runs the show in the office end of the operation. If a student or staff member has a question about finances or accounts they are usually knocking on her door for the answer.

Heather Indrebo

Position:
Chief Dispatcher

All You Want To Know:
Heather works as the Chief Dispatcher "de boss", she looks after all aircraft bookings, accounts, and reception. If you have a complaint please feel free to talk to Heather.

When not at Pro, she is busy chasing after her 2 young daughters and husband Kirk. Kirk is a pilot with WestJet Airlines.

Shannon Meissner

Position:
Admin

All You Want To Know:
The aviation bug first found Shannon in 1993 when she accompanied a friend on a flight to CYLW from CZBB. Not long after this flight, Shannon started her first aviation job out of King George Airpark, and started learning to fly on Ultralights. Since then, she has worked for various aviation companies and similar to the pilot life, this has taken her from Southern BC to Northern Alberta.

At Professional Flight Centre Shannon ensures the smooth operation of all aspects of dispatch, student accounts, co-ordination of the seminars etc. It is her smiling face that greets everyone in the dispatch office.

As a gracious bride (and yes she married a pilot), she has now been blessed with a daughter.

Amber is an up and coming pilot in training. When she is not working as a Dispatcher at Pro, she can be found flying the skies with Central Mountain Air as a Flight Attendent.
