Safety has always been the top priority for Pacific Professional Flight Centre. We have proactively developed the COVID-19 outbreak response plan outlined below in the event of a positive COVID-19 case being diagnosed on-campus:
  • Separate the symptomatic individual from and direct the symptomatic individual to return to their place of residence. Arrangements for transportation should be coordinated if required.
  • Notify Chief Flight Instructor immediately.
  • If fully vaccinated, symptomatic individual should self-isolate for at least 5 days since the start of symptoms.
  • If unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, symptomatic individual should self-isolate for at least 10 days since the start of symptoms.
  • Gather all the info regarding this person’s most recent visits/contacts at school.
  • Download all the recent Health Declaration Forms and keep them in a separate folder for potential PHO investigation
  • Thorough disinfection using 75% alcohol spray to deep clean entire school on the night we are informed. (maintain our regular disinfection/cleaning procedure the next day)
  • Students and staff who have “close contact” with this person will be contacted and to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days (or self-isolate for the length of time given by public health (if any) based on the level of exposure and vaccination status).
  • Mass communication to staff.
  • If symptoms persist, the individual should be instructed to contact 8-1-1 or their local healthcare provider for further direction.
